He has a sleek beautiful outline, very good shoulder layback and clean flowing powerful movement from the side and up and back. He is very smart, super, super sweet and wants to please. James was shown here and there in Conformation as his Mom Shirley will let me take him, but had several nice wins on the way to his Championship. James finished his Championship at the Salina Kennel Club show on September 16, 2005 by going WD/BOW! He has thrilled us with his excellent show record. In limited showing he has a Specialty RWD win his first weekend out, a Specialty supported WD win, as well as his wonderful wins and placements at the National Specialty: 1st in Sweeps, 2nd in Open Liver, 2nd in Futurity class. James earns his Rally Novice title! Good job to his mom Shirley and "Baby James". He has a future in the Obedience ring as well as helping Shirley continue her Therapy work and PAWS Reading program. April 14, 2007 ~ James is now a certified Delta Society Therapy Pet Partner! James will be visiting the Johnson County Libraries, listening to children read this summer. He will begin the school year next year helping reluctant readers and students with reading disabilities. In addition, he will also be visiting assisted living homes to bring comfort to the aged. This includes Hospice work. He will become a R.E.A.D., (Reading Education Assistance Dogs) member. This volunteer organization is located in Salt Lake City, Utah and is part of Intermountain Therapy Animals. Shirley May has two other Dalmatians, Holly and KyAn that are current members as well.
