7 Weeks, 3 Days Old...
We have been busy and having fun running Momma Julia and Grandma Marjorie ragged. Tee hee... We especially love
running in the yard and chewing anything we can get into our mouths. We had our "temperament" tested at 7 weeks of age. We
all loaded up into the Van and went to a new place with a nice fenced in yard. And a nice lady made us chase things, held
us down and even held us with our feet just off the ground. There were lots of new scents and shrubery to play and hide
in. Momma Julia says we did a great job but the tester, Shirley, Julia and Marjorie were really worn out after all
of that. We didn't get our 7 week pictures taken. Julia says we will wait until Sunday and get 8 week pictures.

6 Weeks, 5 Days...
Yesterday was a totally new adventure! We all went for a long Van ride up to K-State Veterinary College to have our hearing
tested (BAER- brainstem auditory evoked response) by Dr Cash. He is a very nice man! We had lots of admirers and everyone
wanted to take us home. We were very good and had no accidents in the Van!
After we got home we ate a big supper and took a nap. Mom then took us one at a time out in the front yard and played
with us. We walked up the driveway to the main gate through gravel, sand and grass. The high winds the other day had knocked
down a lot of sticks and leaves for us to play with. Life is GOOD!

6 Weeks, 1 Day Old...
Yesterday was a very busy day! We all got to stack really pretty for mom and got our serious pictures taken. Mom said
we needed to be little show dogs, we don't quite know what that means yet, but we got COOKIES so that must be a very
good thing!
Life is good and we are having fun, into everything.
This afternoon we got to get down in the grass and run around the yard... YAHOO freedom!!! Grass, weeds and dirt taste
kind of funny but we had to chew on them anyway. We took a really long nap after that!

5 Weeks Old...
Puppies were 5 weeks old yesterday and what a day it was! It was their first time outside in the xpen on the deck. It
was a beautiful day with a nice breeze. They just hollered alot. They wanted to be out running all over. But we did feed them
outside and they pottied shortly afterward. That was much better on cleanup!
They also had their 5 week photos taken. Some were cooperative and some were too silly for the bait.
So far the puppies have interacted with other adult dogs here, had four different vistors (men and women), have walked
on hard wood floors, carpeting, rugs, newspaper, and now a wooden deck. Soon they will get to experience grass, dirt, gravel
and sand. We have a tunnel and small "dog walk" to introduce them to obstacles. We have lots of toys, bones and a cardboard
box to crawl through or lay in. It is so good for them to experience different surfaces and new experiences. They still need
introduced to children and more people. And soon it will be the new owners responsibility to continue the socialization and
shaping process that we have laid the foundation for.

We are Having FUN...
The puppies are a hoot! They have made a great discovery in the Living room. The big dogs have a toy and bone bucket!
It is just too funny to see these little babies chewing on a large knuckle bone!
Brinn is the future Agility star. She tries to squeeze out of the puppy pen every chance she gets. She has no qualms
about knocking down the baby gate that blocks the dining room and walking across and through the slats.
Auntie Merica babysat with pups a bit this morning. They just love Merica (she is close to their size! lol) and she loves
the babies! She plays ever so gently with them. She does get a strange expression on her face when they try to nurse though!
